Christmas - From the aisles of New York

Explorer Lens
The last week of December is considered as one of the most amazing times of the year in the USA.
With Christmas and New Year around the corner, people are in full festive and vacation mood.
Every house and lane of the country is lightened up and decorated.
Also, this is the best time of the year for the photographer and travel bloggers to add some cool pics to their kitty.

New York is one of the best destinations in the USA to witness the beauty of Christmas.
Holiday Windows, glittering lights and Christmas trees at every corner of Big Apple are the prettiest sight for the spectators.

Luckily I was in the city on the Christmas Eve and here is a photo walk of the amazing views from the lens of explorer.

1. Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is the most happening place in NYC during the Christmas time.
It is home to one of the biggest Christmas tree in the world.

2. Saks Fifth Avenue

You will witness one of the best light shows during the Christmas time in the USA here.
The 2-minute show is one of the most watched videos on Instagram during this time.

3. 5th Avenue Holiday Window displays

The window displays at the department stores on the 5th Avenue are really unique and amazing.
I saw them for the first time and was spellbound by the creativity and originality.

4. Empire State building

Empire State building is the best place to have a panoramic view of New York City and capture the
most picturesque holiday light displays. What can be better than witnessing the city immersed
in the magical lights from the top?
More pics in my next blogpost which is dedicated to Empire State Building.

5. Wollman Rink

If Ice Skating is your way to spend the Christmas Eve than Wollman Rink is the perfect place to be
at. Have a breathtaking view of the city Skyline and twirl with other people at this amazing place.

6. St Patrick’s Cathedral

The 136-year-old church is one of the prominent landmarks in New York.
Located directly across the street from Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue, it is one of the best
places to be on a Christmas Eve.
Personally, it is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen till now so would definitely
      recommend to everyone.
