Places to visit in New Jersey - Holland Ridge Farm

Explorer Lens

The spring is in its full mood and the summers have just knocked the door.
The trees have worn the blanket of leaves and sun is shining bright on the beautiful flowers.

Yes, it is time to get your camera out, feet moving and probably plan out your next weekend destination.
Though New Jersey provides a lot of options for weekend getaway in summers, but a fresh and photographic start to it is by visiting the Holland Ridge Farm for its Tulip Festival.

It is located just one hour south of New York City and an hour north of Philadelphia. The farm is over 140 acres and is home to 120 varieties of Tulips, all the way from Holland.

Tickets & Fees
The entry ticket is $8/person.

Connectivity
Easily accessible and has lot of free parking space available.

Food
You are not allowed to bring your food to the farm and there are no food options inside, so plan accordingly.

Now time for some gyan from Explorer Lens
1. Every season has a different festival, like in summers there is Tulip Festival while in fall it is time for Sunflower festival, so keep checking their website for updates.
2. For every season the festival is open for a limited time period only so keep yourself updated with the dates.
3. Weekends are super crowded so it is wise to visit the farm in weekdays.
4. Don’t opt for Hayrides as there is nothing great in it.
5. If you are a couple, go in a group so that there is someone clicking you as a pair amid the beautiful blooming tulips or sunflowers. Such pics are memorable and worth a click.

Now it is time for the photowalk of the amazing Tulip Festival.
Hope you like the pics..!!
